As I am writing these words, I humbly and excitedly announce that Agency of Joy is celebrating its fifth anniversary as a company. Yes, five years of joy, growth, learning, and the beautiful dance of navigating life’s twists and turns!
From the depths of my heart, I extend my gratitude to everyone who has been a part of this journey. When I started this solo entrepreneurship adventure five years ago, I had no idea what to expect. Reflecting on my journey, I see a tapestry woven with threads of resilience, adaptability, and joy.
At this moment, I believe more than ever in the power of using our voices. I’ve been, like many of us, calling for a Free Palestine, a global ceasefire, and an end to the genocide of Palestinians in their ancestral homeland.
I am disgusted by the government leaders of this country who continue to disregard the ongoing slaughtering of innocent lives, and I stand in solidarity with those on the frontlines in Palestine, Sudan, Congo—all over the world—who are fighting for freedom. None of us are free until we all are, and I committed more than ever to using my voice and artistry as a channel for resistance. I encourage you to explore what that looks like for you, too.
Five Years of Creativity
Over these years, I’ve learned a lot about myself and realized that my abilities and skills go beyond a single job role or title. Agency of Joy has given me a platform to express my creativity and innovation and to embrace the unexpected with vibrant colors.
Throughout this journey, I’ve experienced ups and downs, successes and failures, and have grown profoundly. However, I’ve learned that Agency of Joy is more than just a company. It’s a shared ecosystem, a way of life, where we learn, evolve, and celebrate the beauty of ourselves, working toward collective liberation. As I celebrate this moment, I want to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for your support, trust, and collaboration.
